Today, students read independently. Absent students should get their absence excused in order for the bell-ringer to be exempted. (4th- and 6th-period students also went to check out books at the beginning of class.)
Then, students were introduced to the Independent Reading Project, due Friday. Students will work on this assignment all week and are expected to work on it at home if necessary so they can turn it in on Friday. Students will find all the information for this assignment in Google Classroom.
