Today, students completed the word analogy of the day. Absent students should get their absence excused in order for the bell-ringer to be exempted. Then, students read independently.

Students worked on finishing up the essay and turned it in. It is due tomorrow.

If students were not caught up on the gateway work, they used the class time to try to catch up.

Students were reminded that there’s a NoRedInk.com assignment due Friday and that Friday is the last day to turn in the missing work.

Students continued to work on their introduction gateway, which is due today.

If students are behind on their gateway work, they should still continue to work toward finishing them. The essay will be due Friday.

Today, students read independently. 

Then, students began working on their introduction gateway, found in Google Classroom. It is due tomorrow. Students who were behind on gateway work should use this time to catch up so they are finished by Friday.

Today, students read independently.

Then, students finished up the paragraph 2 & 3 gateway, due today.

Students were reminded that this week’s NoRedInk.com assignment is due today.

Looking ahead to next week, students can expect an Introduction gateway for next week followed by an assignment to format and submit the whole essay.
