Today, students completed the word analogy of the day; absent students should get the absence excused and fill out the missing work form, letting Mrs. Evans know it was excused. 

Then, students read independently at the beginning of class; students with an excused absence should read for 20 minutes and complete the Independent Reading Make-Up Form found in Google Classroom.

Students began working on the Topic Sentence Practice in Google Classroom. We will continue working on this through Wednesday of next week.

Students finished the notes from yesterday and began requesting feedback on their gateway topic sentences at the end.

Today, we went to the library to check out books.  Then, we returned to class and students read independently at the beginning of class; students with an excused absence should read for 20 minutes and complete the Independent Reading Make-Up Form found in Google Classroom. 

Students began taking notes over topic sentences using the guided notes found in Google Classroom.

Then, students participated in a setting activity that absent students do not have to make up.
