Today, students read independently. Absent students should read independently for 20 minutes and submit a half-page summary of their reading with an absent form attached for credit.
Then, students were introduced to the Independent Reading Project. We will use the calendar below to checkpoint the parts of the assignment. A checkpoint is when the work is pretty much done and it gives Mrs. Evans a chance to warn a student when the assignment is way off task or way incorrect and give feedback on some minor/overall changes that will improve their overall final grade.
